Financial Analyst

Keithley is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for our Solon, Ohio offices.

The selected candidate will be responsible for producing timely and accurate consolidated internal financial statements, analyzing results and investigating variances. He/she will coordinate with foreign subsidiary and branch office personnel on reporting requirements; maintain accurate fixed asset records and capital equipment requests; use knowledge of Oracle and other technologies to identify and help implement process improvements throughout Finance, and perform special projects as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with 2-4 years experience in public accounting or a financial accounting role. Previous SOX and foreign operations experience a plus. Must have experience with a major ERP system such as Oracle or SAP, and be proficient in Excel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. Successfully apply a wide-range of moderately complex professional concepts.
2. Gather and document product requirements.
3. Work with Engineering Manager or project technical leads in setting project and product goals such as performance, schedule, and cost.
4. Establish and maintain design documentation.
5. Conduct and document design review meetings.
6. Implement solutions based upon stated goals.
7. Demonstrate ability to solve difficult problems of diverse scope in creative and practical ways.
8. Ensure product suitability for targeted applications, manufacturability, and profitability.
9. Maintain current knowledge of tools, techniques, and competitive products through literature, training, and research.
10. Create and circulate Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Engineering Change Authorizations (ECAs), and Deviations.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

A four-year technical degree in Electrical Engineering is required. The position requires knowledge of UL, CE, IEC, and SEMI standards; as well as experience with testing and analysis of test and measurement equipment according to Safety and EMC requirements.Hands on experience with mechanical and electrical trouble shooting techniques related specifically to compliance issues as well as strong documentation and communication skills are strongly desired. Experience in handling multiple tasks simultaneously and working with third party agencies for certification and audit of products is preferred.

Lead Field Applications ENG. (California)

Keithley is currently seeking a Lead Field Applications Engineer for our Irvine, CA office.

The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to Keithley personnel and customers by answering technical questions regarding product performance and application.  He/she will provide customers, sales and marketing personnel with technical support for the promotion and sale of existing and new Keithley products, as well as training in the area of product operation and applications. The postion will support our high end DC and RF instrumentation products and ultimately will also be expected to provide first level support for our parametric tester lines.

A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent is required, with four to eight years of experience. A working knowledge of RF measurements as they apply to cell phone testing (GSM, CDMA, TDMA etc technologies) and good understanding of DC measurements is necessary.  Knowledge of semiconductor device physics and S-Parameter measurements a plus. Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Engineering Co-op

The selected candidate will test and evaluate advanced test and measurement systems by developing and executing test plans and helping to analyze the results. He/she will perform configuration management and documentation tasks pertaining to the test function, and will participate in design reviews, project management meetings and process improvement activities.

The selected candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferably with a focus on embedded software. He/she should be familiar with either UNIX or Windows and must have some programming experience.
