Resistance measurements have unique challenges and can become quite difficult to handle when the resistance to be measured is either very high or very low. This seminar discusses the measurement techniques necessary to achieve accurate and precise measurements over the entire range, from microOhms to thousands of TeraOhms.

By participating in this seminar, you will learn:
  • The difference between 2-wire and 4-wire measurements.
  • FVMC (force voltage, measure current) and FCMV (force current, measure voltage) methods.
  • The benefits of the Delta Mode technique for low resistances.
  • The Alternating Polarity method for high resistances.
The connection and shielding practices necessary to get the most out of each type of resistance measurement are also discussed.
