A complement to Keithley's precision measurement instruments, the Model KPCI-488LP is priced at only $399 USD, helping test engineers to further lower their cost of test and ownership. To reduce switching costs, the Model KPCI-488LP's driver library is fully command compatible with Keithley, Capital Equipment Corporation (CEC), and National Instruments™ (NITM) command sets, making it plug-and-play compatible with existing applications. The Model KPCI-488LP is a 3.3V and 5V PCI-bus compatible GPIB interface plug-in board. The Model KPCI-488LP provides complete software support for Windows XP and 2000. Support will be provided for the new Microsoft Windows VISTA operating system upon its release. The Model KPCI-488LP also supports industry-standard VISA (Virtual Instrument Software Architecture) libraries to ensure compatibility with applications utilizing VISA. The Model KPCI-488LP can be used in programming languages such as Microsoft Visual Studio, .NET, Borland C Builder, LabVIEW™, and LabWindows/CVI™.
