Please read Keithley’s Terms of Use Policy for important information on the terms of use and legal restrictions for posting your scripts on Keithley's web site.
General Description of Service
Keithley provides an area for developers to share scripts on the World Wide Web with features including, but not limited to, submitting your scripts for download to other users.
Individual developers can submit instrument scripts to the Scripts Library for distribution on an “as is” basis. Keithley Instruments distributes the scripts as part of the Scripts Library, but the scripts are unsupported by us.
Although we do not have any formal requirements for contributed scripts, we recommend that you thoroughly test your script and include ample help.
No compensation will be paid with respect to the use of your Submission (“Submission”) as provided herein. Keithley Instruments is under no obligation to post or use any Submission you may provide. At its sole discretion, Keithley Instruments may remove any Submission at any time.
By posting a Submission, you warrant and represent that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to your Submission as described in the Terms of Use, including, without limitation, all the rights necessary for you to provide, post, upload, input, or submit the Submissions.
Use of Site
Keithley Instruments authorizes you to view and download the materials on this Web site (“Site”) only for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original materials and on any copies of the materials.
You may not modify the materials at this Site in any way or reproduce or publicly display, perform, distribute, or otherwise use them for any public or commercial purpose. For purposes of these Terms, any use of these materials on any other Web site or networked computer environment for any purpose is prohibited. The materials at this Site are copyrighted, and any unauthorized use of materials at this Site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.
If you breach any of these Terms, your authorization to use this Site automatically terminates, and you must immediately destroy any downloaded or printed materials.
Use of Scripts
If you download scripts ("Scripts") from this Site, use of the Scripts is subject to the license terms in the License Agreement that accompanies or is provided with the Scripts. You may not download or install the Scripts until you have read and accepted the terms of the License Agreement.
User Submissions
Other than personally identifiable information, which is covered under the Keithley Instruments Online Privacy Statement, any material, information, or other communication ("Communications") you transmit or post to this Site will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. Keithley Instruments will have no obligations with respect to the Communications.
Keithley Instruments and its designees will be free to copy, disclose, distribute, incorporate, and otherwise use the Communications and all data, images, sounds, text, and other things embodied therein for any and all commercial or non-commercial purposes.
You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from this Site any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or other material that would violate any law. Keithley Instruments may, but is not obligated to, monitor or review any areas on the Site where users transmit or post Communications or communicate solely with each other, including but not limited to discussion groups, bulletin boards, or other user forums, and the content of any such Communications. Keithley Instruments, however, has no liability related to the content of any such Communications, whether or not arising under the laws of copyright, libel, privacy, obscenity, or otherwise.
Keithley Instruments retains the right to remove messages that include any material deemed abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise unacceptable.
Upload Agreement
By posting, uploading, inputting, providing, or submitting ("Posting") your Submission, you are granting Keithley Instruments, its affiliated companies, and necessary sublicensees permission to use your Submission, including, without limitation, the license rights to copy, distribute, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, reproduce, edit, translate and reformat your Submission; to publish your name in connection with your Submission; and the right to sublicense such rights.
Authorization and Indemnification
(1) You certify that you are the author and copyright holder of any and all software products that you share through our Web site, or that you have been authorized by the copyright holder to release it for distribution.

Your Conduct
When posting scripts, you may not:
- Upload files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy of publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents.
- Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another's computer.
- Advertise or offer to sell or buy any goods or services for any business purpose.
- Falsify or delete any author attributions, legal, or other proper notices or proprietary designations or labels of the origin or source of software or other material contained in a file that is uploaded.
- Restrict or inhibit any other user from transmitting or posting Communications.
- Harvest or otherwise collect information about others, including e-mail addresses.
