WS/094: Do More with Pulses: Practical Tips and Methods for Getting the Most
from Today’s Pulse Generators
New devices and materials are being introduced into product designs, but with these new materials and devices come new challenges for characterization and testing. To address these emerging testing challenges, pulse generators are becoming an important tool. In this seminar you’ll learn how how complex pulsed outputs can be applied in semiconductor, memory technologies, material research and serial data testing.

Target Audience:
This seminar is recommended for researchers in material sciences and nanotechnology, and engineers in semiconductor, memory, and digital design who wish to gain a better understanding of these underutilized test tools.

What you will learn:
This Pulse seminar offers insight into using pulse/pattern generators to produce the pulsed voltage or current stimuli required to test a variety of devices. We’ll explore how complex pulsed outputs can be applied in semiconductor, memory technologies, material research and serial data testing. We’ll also demonstrate complex outputs that go far beyond a typical “square wave.”

By participating in this seminar, you will learn and understand
  • Source and DUT impedance and its effect on the pulse outputs
  • Programming techniques that will allow you to achieve complex outputs
  • Product solutions that will give you the capability and flexibility your application demands
